Located in Christchurch, Pandas Home Care is a home-based Early Childhood Education organisation. We are committed to nurturing respectful relationships between all ages under the guidance of the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum, Te Whāriki. With respect for New Zealand’s dual heritage and Te Tiriti o Waitangi, we have specifically included a bicultural focus in our Early Childhood Education service. With respect and collaboration, our educators and visiting teachers support parents/whānau in their role as their child’s first teachers, and invite family/whanau, and their communities to participate in our curriculum through sharing their child’s interests, strengths, identity, and current learning needs, as well as their aspirations for their child.
At Pandas Home Care, our professional team aims to nurture and educate children within secure, stimulating and positive in-home environments while fostering consistent, connected and supportive relationships between the children, their educators and their parents/whānau. We understand that all learners come with prior knowledge and are equal partners with their educators, parents, families and communities in determining their learning journey.
Guided by Te Whāriki, the bicultural Early Childhood Curriculum in Aotearoa, and acknowledging the unique place of Māori as tangata whenua, we/are:
