Our Visiting Kaiako regularly visiting every educator and their tamariki in care. Together we build and share the knowledge towards each ākonga and their families. Collaboratively we review and plan for future teaching strategies that support the child’s current learning interest and identity.
Tēnā koutou, ko Jessie Hall tōku ingoa. With over a decade of experience working with tamariki and a diploma in Montessori education, I am deeply passionate about collaborating with tamariki, whānau, and educators to support each child's unique learning journey. In my role as visiting teacher, I celebrate the rich cultures of our diverse communities and strive to honour the mana of tamariki, fostering their social and emotional competence. By working closely with educators, I promote positive learning outcomes that reflect the values and strengths of each child. Outside of my professional role, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, and I love exploring the beauty of nature.
Kia ora, ko Jo Jamieson toku ingoa. In my role as a visiting kaiako, I am passionate and committed to supporting children's development and learning alongside whanau and families. I love to engage children in learning through their interests and current funds of knowledge and specifically through my knowledge of music and my hobby of singing. I am currently studying Early Intervention with Massey University and Te Reo through Te Wananga. I love to learn and add to my kete of knowledge.
Kia ora koutōu, ko Ming Fang toku ingoa. I work as an office administrator/translater at Pandas Home Care. At Pandas I endeavor to assist the sharing of knowledge between our visiting kaiako, educators, and whānau, and sustain the growth of our organization as a learning community. My experience as a previous educator enables me to actively inquire into effective creation and delivery of authentic learning context to our learners. Outside of my work schedule I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and discovering the various experiences our Ōtautahi has to offer.
I believe that children are flourishing the best when they are learning in an environment where whakamana(empowerment) and aroha(love) are the norm. As the founder and director of Pandas Home Care, I am privileged to work with our children, their parents/whānau and educators, to collaboratively incorporate our cultures and strengths to form a curriculum that is consistently responsive to the needs of each child. Being an ECE practitioner and parent, I am passionate in supporting the sharing of knowledge between visiting teachers, whānau and our educators, to enhance a strong sense of engagement within and beyond our organisation. I look forward to meeting you, and celebrate your tamariki’s learning together through this fellowship.
